Evergreens - Howick & Hilton – Pastor David
For those who have retired or are over 60 years of age. Meetings are held In Howick each Thursday morning from 10:30—12:00 and in Hilton each Thursday afternoon from 16:00-17:30. We get-together for a time of Fellowship, getting to know each
other, and offer a network of care and support.

Dave & Gill Dobson
Our home group meets on a Saturday evening at 17:30 to about 21:00 at a rotating venue
and we usually end the bible study with a light meal. We include prayer, fellowship and Bible
study and are currently following the Church reading plan. Each week a different person
leads the group (usually the host for the evening). We are a group of retired or semi-retired
people.

Men's Bible Study
Our Wednesday morning men’s group has about five regular members. It is aimed at retired
men by reason of the 7:30am start but all are welcome. Mike Berry leads the teaching and it
is a men’s fellowship group aimed at both caring for and about each other as well as a Bible
study.

Mark Houston
Mark Houston
Our home group is a welcoming space committed to meaningful fellowship and Bible study.
Led by Mark Houston, we meet in Hilton on Wednesday evenings from 19:00/19:30. We
range in ages, from 20s to 40s. All are welcome. We tend to follow the church’s reading plan
and discuss passages therefrom.

Peter & Heather Kyle
Peter & Heather Kyle
Our home group meets on a Wednesday at 19:00 and the age group aims at the 50’s and
60’s although we wouldn’t discourage any other age groups from attending.
The aim of our Bible Study is to summarize:
a) Learning to know God better through the studying of His word.
b) Praying for one another’s needs and also those in the church.
c) Missions – We have strong ties with the Venter family and then of course Mark and
Moira Emerson in our group so we pray regularly for their needs at Kenosis.
d) Fellowship- we often do things together and have longstanding love for each other in
the group.

Young Parents – Pastor David
This Bible Study is for those parents, but not only, whose children attend youth on a Friday
afternoon from 5:30 – 6:30.

Youngs Adults Home Group
We are a post High School group meeting every Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm. Our focus is on Discipleship bible study and generally just doing life together.
